News - Scottish Government`s new Energy Assistance Package
The Scottish Government`s new Energy Assistance Package will help 10,000 more families to save around £900 a year on fuel bills. Central heating systems, home insulation, thermostats and green energy devices will be on offer to low income families with children under 16.
In addition, the Fuel Poverty Forum set up by the Scottish Government to look at wasy to tackle fuel poverty has been asked to investigate extending eligibility for the new Package to chronically ill and cancer patients.
